From then until Now (part 3)

Hi

I hope you enjoy the last of my layout intensive posts!  In future the plan is to do a post on each layout and then to go into more detail of what techniques I used as well as to tell you about the page.

I was lucky enough to attend two of the World Cup Soccer matches.  I had an awesome time.

The layouts below are of my beautiful niece Jessica who was born in September 2010.  I have loved making her album and as expected am already behind schedule!  She is such a cutie pie, I know that I will end up doing many albums for her in the future.

 Thanks for looking.

From then until Now (part 2)

Below are the rest of my layouts since the beginning of this year.  I had recently moved to Perth and my life was chaos.  It took me a good few months before I had myself organised enought to find the time to sort through all my scrapbooking supplies and get started again.  But once I got started, I couldn't stop!  I have had so much fun this year developing my hobby and loving being creative.

A special message I wrote to my unborn neice for her "Time Capsule"

Oh dear, looks like there needs to be a part three to my 2011 scrapbooking pages.

Thanks for looking

From then till Now (part 1)

Hi
I thought I'd post some of my scrapbooking layouts since my introduction to scrapping 18 months ago.

These layouts I did in 2010, the rest I will send on a different post.

Thanks for looking

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my first blogpost. I have been scrapbooking since May 2010. I was inspired by a very good friend who had been scrapbooking for a few years and made such beautiful lay-outs. I thought it was a wonderful way to really make photographs special and take the memories to a new level. I attended a scrapbooking class in Cape Town and instantly fell in love with the art! I did a lay-out that was dedicated to friends, and it was such an apt LO since it was my good friend who had introduced me to scrapping.

I immediately signed up for a second class which was a more freestyle class. I loved it even more and the layout I did was of my Mom's recent 60th birthday:

Since then I scrap regularly, and even though I don't have a husband or children, I still have plenty of photos to scrap.
I have since also started to make cards! I guess this is a natural progression from scrapbooking. I will post soon on some of the Christmas cards that I have recently made.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day,
Angie
